Is LearnMatch free to use?
Yes. Search, school and course information, and the optional assessment are available without charge. LearnMatch does not request payment information.
Do I need an account?
No. LearnMatch does not operate a production account system. Any profile details entered in the demonstration sign-in flow remain in your browser and are not sent to us.
How are recommendations produced?
The optional assessment compares the responses you provide with course attributes and presents separate indicators for interest alignment, current readiness, and practical feasibility. It is an informational aid and not professional guidance, a psychological assessment, or a guarantee of any outcome.
Where do course and school details come from?
We compile information from CHED Program Specification Guidelines and other public sources. Information can be incomplete or out of date; confirm material details directly with the relevant institution.
Is assessment information stored or sold?
The browser keeps the assessment profile and results on your device. The profile is sent to the recommendation endpoint only to produce the requested result and is not stored by LearnMatch as an assessment record. We do not sell personal information for money. Please read the Privacy Policy for the full disclosure.
Can I share my results?
Yes. A shareable link can encode your profile in the link itself. Anyone with that link may be able to view the resulting information, so only share it with people you trust.
How reliable are travel estimates?
Distance and route estimates are provided for general planning only. They may be incomplete, unavailable, or affected by routing data and do not account for real-time conditions.
Does LearnMatch replace a guidance counselor or admissions office?
No. LearnMatch is independent of CHED, DepEd, and listed institutions. Consult the relevant school, a qualified guidance professional, or another appropriate adviser before making a material decision.
How can an institution request a correction or logo removal?
Email us with the institution name, the information at issue, supporting details, and your relationship to the institution. We will review the request in good faith.
